On July 29th, a suspected incident of brown bear feeding occurred in Shiretoko National Park. According to reports from witnesses, it appears that snacks were being given to the brown bear from inside a vehicle. Brown bears that are fed by people will escalate their behavior and become more likely to harm people. This type of behavior puts many people at risk, so please refrain from doing so.
